Daryl Foster
After completing his term at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in Edmonton, Daryl spent the next nine years involved in credit and collections within the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. This experience led to a management position with a national lending institution. Prior to this, Daryl resided in both the Saskatchewan and Manitoba territories with his family for several years.
In 1976, Daryl and his family were transferred to Vancouver where he continued his employment as a Branch Manager with the lending institution. Two years later, Daryl left for a position with an automotive performance warehouse, operating in the Vancouver area. In 1978, Daryl joined a large Western Canadian sales agency where he spent the next 10 years concentrating on the automotive aftermarket within the British Columbia region.
Early in 1989, Daryl left to form his own agency, known as D. Foster and Associates Ltd. For over 19 years, D. Foster and Associates Ltd. has had a proven track record, and has offered professional representation to manufacturers throughout Canada. |

Phil Gold
Phil established his agency as an outgrowth of his immediate previous position with a U.S. based sales agency. The company was started in 1977 to service OEMs, WDs, mass merchants, chains, etc. The territory originally covered was Western Canada. In 1980 the company was expanded eastward to become national in scope.
Phil has an extensive background in sales and marketing. He has owned and/or managed companies in areas as diverse as direct sales, furniture and appliance retailing, furniture manufacturing, trucking, real estate sales, property development and management.
Phil Gold Agencies’ 30 plus years in the rep business have been extremely rewarding and have been highlighted by receiving the following awards: Sema (regional) rep of the year Rep of the year for the following companies, Elixir Industries five times, Deflecta-shield Corp. Twice, Firestone (Ride-Rite) 2 times.
These awards and the success of Phil’s company are the direct result of Phil’s dedication to ethical professionalism in selling and to plain old Hard work. This is what Phil now brings to the table in this new partnership of Foster Gold & Associates. |

Brent Foster
Brent attended BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) and graduated from the Operations Management program in June 1997.
Brent joined D. Foster and Associates Ltd. shortly after graduation as a Sales and Marketing Representative. He is continuing his post-secondary education in the sales and marketing field. Brent also belongs to an organization called APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) that provides current industry information.
Brent has brought a fresh perspective to D. Foster and Associates Ltd. He has been instrumental in refining the company’s business strategy to focus on new and emerging markets. Brent prides himself on maintaining high-caliber service to all clients. |

Sean Foster
Upon graduation from college in 1992, with a diploma in sales, marketing and business management, Sean began his sales career in the telecommunications industry. Sean’s main responsibility was accounts management for large corporate accounts in the Vancouver marketplace. These responsibilities included prospecting of new accounts, forecasting and budgeting sales in the territory, as well as working with existing accounts to increase business. Assisting in marketing programs and introducing these programs to large corporate accounts was a big part of Sean’s success. With Sean’s experience and success, he quickly advanced to the top of his sales team and maintained top sales over his six years in the telecommunications industry.Sean joined D. Foster and Associates Ltd. in 1999 and moved to Alberta to open a new office in Calgary. Sean travels the Alberta territory and has been successful using his many years of sales and marketing experience to develop strong relationships with the accounts in Alberta. Sean has been a tremendous asset to D. Foster and Associates Ltd. in the Alberta marketplace. |

Dan Cloutier
When Phil Gold Agencies amalgamated with D. Foster and Associates, Dan became Foster Gold’s Quebec Sales Manager. Dan brings a wealth of both automotive and sales representative experience. He served his apprenticeship with one of the largest manufacturer representatives as a Territory Sales Manager for 13 years. He then worked for Armor All Products as a Regional Sales Director and eventually a National Sales Director. Following that role, Dan became the Sales Manager for Positor, a trailer parts distributor. Dan joined Phil Gold Agencies in 2004 as the Eastern Sales Manager.
Dan is completely bilingual, and therefore is right at home with all of our customers, whether they are French or English speaking.. |

Mark Williams
Mark is a sales professional with broad experience gained primarily in the automotive aftermarket and consumer products industries. He has held various sales and management positions with district, regional and national responsibilities. Mark spent ten years as an Account Executive selling to national accounts, managing a multi-million dollar account base comprised of mass merchandisers, specialty chain installers and other national retailers.
Mark spent three years as a Tourism Ontario employee and became very familiar with the province through extensive travels.
Mark is a member of C.P.S.A. (Canadian Professional Sales Association) and has been an Executive Member of T.B.A. (The Business Advantage). |
